IK would like to hear from any folks searching for Hillery Langford's family.  I have some pictures of Hillery and Rebecca and would like to hear from others.

Don West, Wed, Jun 23, 2021, 9:51am

I am descended from Hillery Langford's tenth child Dorothy who married Joseph James Harrison min 1847 in Warren County.  It  was Judge Randall Evans who marked Hillery's grave in the Salem church yard, It was Hillery who gave the land for the Salem Church after a conversion experience at camp meeting. We would think that Rebecca Entrekin his first wife would be buried beside him since she died first.  I have no idea where his second wife is buried. though she received the widow's portion through Hillery's bankruptcy.

To Thomas Young.  My information on Rebecca Entrican who marreid Hillary Langford is that she died in 1864 in Warren County, Ga. I do not know where she is buried.  I am decended from their son John E.and Delia Wheeler Langford, from their daughter Sallie Langford and William Smith, to their daughter Myra Belle Smith and William McWatty to my father Ernest C. McWatty.

On July 7, 2013 we visited Hillary Langford's tomb and enjoyed seeing your beautiful church and cemetery. I am related to Hillary Langford and I am interested in finding out where his wife Rebeca Entrican was buried. Thank you.

I almost forgot. Jason is currently residing in Valdosta, Ga. and is still searching to find himself. He is in between boy and man as we all know how tough that can be. His time will come in God's time.

Thanks,

Ken Keith

I am so blessed to be a part of this church. Our pastor, and my good friend Jim Miller, has been such an inspiration to this church. The fellowship of the congregation is outstanding. I have felt the prayers and God is working in my heart to lead me on the path of righteousness. I want to thank you all for your support  and prayers!! God is great all the time!!

In Christ,

Brian Smith

Jim Langford, Mon, Oct 12, 2009, 11:16pm

Hi everyone, I'm also trying to find information about Hillary Langford and his wife Rebecca Entriken.  I am descended from them through their son Thomas Langford who  married Martha Ann Langston.  Thomas was wounded in battle during the Civil War and died shortly afterwards.  I have a photo copy of the last letter he mailed home before he was killed.  Thomas & Martha Ann's son James Hillary Langford was my great grandfather.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thanks, Jim Langford, Orlando, FL

Robert McWatty, Sun, Aug 23, 2009, 4:58pm

Hi fellow methodists.  John E. Langford and his wife Delia Wheeler Langford were my great great grandparents (Sallie Langford Smith, Myra Smith McWatty, Ernest C. McWatty) and who are burried at your church.  I have poitraits of both of them and am considering donating these to your church if this is something that the Church would want.

I am researching my 4th ggrand father Hillory Langford, who along with his wife and children  who was a member there until his death in 1884, he is buried in the church graveyard.  I am trying to locate church records that would memtion his wife and children.  Does y0ur church have old church membership records or have they been sent elsewhere?

I noticed that an Annett Walker contacted you reference Hillory  Langford 27 Jan 2008,
If you still have her email address would you be so kind as to forward to her my email address so that we could touch base on Hillery?

Thank you

Hello,
I participated in your fall festival last year and wanted to be a vendor  once again if you are having a festival this year. How might I apply and when will it be held?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely, Susan Dodd

Thanks for making us feel so welcomed when we were visiting with Key & Joan Kernaghan. Most everyone at church came & spoke to us & introduced themselves.
Thanks

I am researching the Langford Family genealogy and understand Hillary Langford may be buried in the church cemetery.  He was born in 1793 and died in 1884.  If there is a transcription of the cemetery available l would be very grateful.

Thank you,
Annette
